12 Days Of Fitmas - Day 10

We are almost at the end of this challenge! I hope you are enjoying it so far. Today we have a great pose to stretch your chest, neck and spine. If you have injuries in any of these areas you may want to choose an alternate pose for today. I also found a yummy vegetarian recipe that would make a great addition to any holiday meal!

Bridge Pose

Begin by lying flat on the floor. You may use a blanket or towel under your neck for extra cushioning or support. Bend your knees and bring your heels in towards your sitting bones. Inhale and gently push your bottom and back up off the floor. Keep your booty and thighs engaged. Make sure your knees don't extend past your toes. Use your arms and hands to brace yourself. Lift as high as you can and hold while breathing deeply.

Spinach Pie with Goat Cheese, Raisins, and Pine Nuts

This sounds like an amazing dish to make for any holiday get-together. It's chock full of healthy ingredients. I think it's perfect for a vegetarian dish.
