CROCKPOT AMERICAN CHOP SUEY

Makes 12 servings

 

1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey

1 lb. whole wheat pasta

28 oz. can of diced or crushed tomatoes

2 6 oz. cans of tomato paste

 

Cook the beef or turkey, then add to the

crockpot.  Add diced/crushed tomatoes

and tomato paste. Fill 3/4 of the 28 oz.

can with water, then add to the crockpot.  

Add garlic, parsley, or other Italian

seasonings if desired.  Mix together and

cook on low for 6 hours.  

 

Cook pasta separately and add to the crockpot

15 minutes before time is up.
